Position: Ramp Lead Specialist

Job Summary:
A Ramp Lead will act as a working leader to those employees assigned to him. Leads are expected to give direction on the proper use of equipment, work methods and safety practices, and ensure assigned personnel and equipment are properly utilized. Ramp leads will see that safety practices regarding aircraft, employees and equipment assigned to him are adhered to, and will complete reports when required.

Job /Responsibilities:

Previous ramp experience
Valid driver’s license
Acts as a working leader and able to direct employees in their respective job assignments without conflict
Good communication skills
Language skills
Must be able to work in inclement weather
Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Excellent Health & Safety Awareness
Lift heavy objects that could reach 70 pounds (32 kilograms)

Requirements:

Must have a thorough understanding of the job requirements as defined by Ramp Specialist
Able to organize job functions and direct other employees in performance of these functions
Must be of good character, neat appearance and safety-minded
Must complete GTAdnata approved testing with an 80% grade level
